I moved out of my parents house just to isolate
I sold all of my prized possessions to win the day

I started doing therapy just to try the couch
It turns out that my brain and I had to fight it out
And I feel all the benefits but I still look lonely
I spend all of this time with myself but still don't know me

They say it gets better but I don't feel better
I just need a little more time
No pressure but it might take effort if I ever wanna be alright
Procrastinatin' and waitin' never did nothing for me

Writing these songs never felt so hard
